Hi guys,

After finally getting the suspension bolted up in the VK (ready to sell) - I've started to reconsider selling it.

So I'm toying with the idea of sticking an injected 304 under the bonnet... but I no longer have the time or space to do a project like this - meaning that I'll pretty much have to pay someone to do the whole lot.

Basically, I'm looking for an estimate on costs on what it'd be worth all up.

Here's what I'm after:

Injected 304 (not necessarily rebuilt, just has to be in good condition)
T5 gearbox (as above)

What I've got currently fitted:

VLT front brakes with DBA X-drilled and slotted rotors
VK stock rear discs, Borg Warner 3.23 diff (only 15/16 master cyl though)
Brand new suspension throughout (new shocks, springs and all bushes except in the diff)

The current engine is a 202 carby... so I guess I'll also be needing a VL tank at the very least. I've just replaced the K-frame and fitted new radius rod bushes; apparently they'll happy bolt up to the 304 so that should be fine.

So - what's everyone's thoughts on costs etc?

- Chris.

Yeah I've heard the VL tanks tend to work a bit better :)

probly around 4k to 5k on the road if u got someone to do it all for you.. probly the biggest cost in labour will be getting it all wired up properly and making all the dash work properly... and trying to find a t5 gearbox cheap is difficult becasue everyone wants em

Yeah I'll probably do the wiring myself TBH, there's a bloke that makes kits for them :)

Oh - no longer selling the kit - was for the 202 but that's sold a month ago or more... soz!
