Vk ls1 vs 350???

I got a vk with a efi 6 cylinder. I got this car soley as a skid car. I will be dropping a v8 into it but trying to decide which way to go. Do the ls1 conversion or drop in a 350 chev. Either way it wil be run of an auto box and threw a vl diff

383 SBC with a t400. cheaper in the long run, sounds better, just better

350 are aroun $500-1k, stroker kits $2000. carby around 700, intake 500, headers to fit vk 700 straight exhaust pipes exit the diff $30, carter black pump and holley reg $150, ice ignition system $1500 cam and lifters $500 5k stall converter $1500.

under 10k and you have yourself a 7000rpm screamer.
