After 4 years of looking at my inner front door grab handles I went to fit the today & it looks like I’m missing a spacer. Can any one advise please?

I don't remember a spacer being there when I fitted mine.....

Will pop mine off later and have a sticky to confirm or deny...

EDIT...The white plastic piece does look a little thin....When I fitted mine up, I had to push it in so a groove in that white plastic piece slotted into the groove of the door frame, which locks the upper section of the arm rest in situ.

Once that piece is slotted in, you twist the arm rest downwards, so the base of the arm rest then lines up, so you can put those long phillips headed screws into the door frame and holds the base firmly in place.

When I remove my arm rest, I'll get some measurements for reference

Ok that makes more sense, the plastic caps slots into the inner door frame & that secures the handle in-place.
I have ordered new plastic clips as they are a bit manky.

Sure does.....

Haven't got round to doing measurements, but ordering new clips should solve the issue you have...

Holla if you do want measurements

Ok really simple, don’t even need to take off the door cards.
Remove original inner door grabs, find the covered hole in the door card & make a “X” cut in the vinyl.
Renew the plastic clips on the upper portion of replacement door grab.
Fit door grab into the new hole & rotate to lock the clip into the steel door frame.
Use the existing screws to secure door grab!
