Hey guys.
Looking to see if anyone can assist me on finding a specific VK SS’ owner in Sydney! Obviously a long shot but tried all options and can’t find him.
My mum had sold our Alpine White ‘86 VK SS back in the mid 2000’s - Number plate was HOT304 in VIC. Car was registered still with those plates up until 2012 in VIC - so assuming it’s gone onto club reg or sold. Rego-check couldn’t provide a VIN, only an engine number and rego serial number. Car had the full genuine Group 3 body kit, and a polished alloy Brown Davis roll cage. Also had a set of 16x8 Simmons B45’s on it. Attached some pics of it in the CommodoreCrazy magazine.
Guy was from Sydney, but owned a medical supply company in Geelong VIC. He owned another VK SS in Asteroid Silver, apparently like new. From memory he was a member of the HDT club in Sydney, and we have a feeling his name was Phillip but cannot find our transfer papers from back then, and the HDT club can not assist due to the fact we cannot blow up an image enough to see the build number.
If anyone’s got any idea of who to contact, or may potentially know of them or a way to track it down, please let me know! I’ve been trying to find the guy for over 6 years now, as it was my only sold due to my father passing away and has a huge sentimental value to our family and we’d like to know if it still exists.
