VL commodore starts but dies.

VL commodore
RB30 starts but won't idle. And dies instantly. Turn distributor a bit and it'll start again for a second but doesn't make a difference.

Timed distributor to #1 on tdc, all marks lined up and does go to fire but dies instantly or winds. Has started and idling before hand However when it got warm it started to die and wasn't able to rev and blow a very small amount of black smoke, turned it off and tried the next morning and it wouldn't start at all so I replaced the cas
New spark plugs
New cas (re timed it many times)
New oil sender
New external fuel pump
New fuel filter
Checked computer. Looks good no broken tracks ect.



Things that havnt been replaced are internal fuel pump, afm, tps, however I do have another rb30 motor with all bolt ons and bits & bobs if I need anything to try


Engine has had a few things done
New sump gasket
New Rocker gasket
New Rear main seal
New Welsh plugs
New Clutch
New Sparkplugs
New leads
New crank angle sensor
New oil
New oil filter
New transmission fluid
New fuel pump + filter (tank one hasn't been done yet)


Any suggestions
