VL turbo idles perfect, but splutters, coughs, backfires under any acceleration

I have changed
- afm
- in tank pump
- cas dizzy and transistor
- o2 sensor

The car idles perfect, but as soon as i take off it splutters and jumps all over the place with the odd gunshot backfire...

Wtf have i missed? This is doing my fking head in! Cant even get it to a mechanic to have it checked...

Sound like it would be a lead or plug. Is the afm a new one or second hand?
And if backfires can pop out the hot wire inside the afm

I have 2 AFMs at home, tried them both, cleaned them both with electrical contact cleaner, tried them again. I just went and bought dizzy, afm, cas, o2 sensor from a guy who is pulling apart a working car, still no luck. I changed my plugs 2 weeks ago and i just pulled them out and they are pretty black.

Could be leads, fuel reg, could be getting a boost leak
Even though the afm came from a working car doesn't always mean they r good. They r very temperamental.
Know from experience.

Just changed my malpasi fuel reg back to my standard one and it actually runs/drives now! But still pings/misses when hitting boost so i guess the pinging/missing would be my timing but the main prob was the fuel reg!

cars can appear to be firing on all cylinders when at idle if a plug or lead is buggered.

it can be throwing a small spark but once the car is under load it cant ignite the fuel in the cylinder every time and when it does it can cause a back fire.

id be checking the leads and pugs but also change the rotor button in the distributor.

My VL did this when I cracked the coil.

My vl did the exact same thing. I tried everything u did. And once I put a new fuel regulator in it was running sweet
