vl excecutive turbo wagon
Hi everyone, just looking for some feedback as to possibly buying a 1987 vl turbo wagon auto, its never been modified at all, has been sitting for a few years, its complete nothing missing, has some rust, am thinking of restoring it, seems a great price, for a complete car, $1000.00, any thoughts or tips, in taking it on as a project, thanks

A genuine turbo wagon for $1000 is a great price...if it's genuine. Pictures would help, but just check all the usuals. Rust can be expensive and will run a lot deeper than what you can see from the outside of the windscreen or tailgate glass. Rust most anywhere else would be unusual and worth checking.

yes have checked the compliance plates and serial no all matches, yes rust around the windscreen and the rear window tailgate, sills and doors look rust free, good thing is have plenty of time to rebuild it, be a nice car when finished
