VL WONT START - suggestions???

i am having dramas with my rb 30 it was running **** and kept cutting out i thought it was the fuel pump changed that and it ran the same? changed the distributor and now there is no spark from the coil onwards changed computers and still no go i realised that the rust in front of my windscreen was leaking water in to the computer so i got the computer out of my other rb 30 that is running perfect and that didnt work either the RAA bloke came around and said there was no spark from the coil onwards the plugs into the computer had that green crusty **** on them he sprayed it with CRC could that be a problem? he said the computer is not sending the right signal to make it spark from the coil onwards? but what has got me it was running good but still cutting out when i had the old computer in it ? can someone please assit me with some knowledge?
