I found the VP SV91 has the same front bar as I have. It's almost ready for paint. Both cracks in the fibreglass have been patched up. It's had 3 lots of undercoat - the last with black mist coat. Next coat gets rubbed down with 800 grit. Then it's the side skirts turn for the mist coat.

Front bar with the first fit up. Grill needs a little more work by the look of it and removal of the 2 theads hanging out the bottom.

Boot is almost finished - just rub back the black mist coat.

Not for now. Saving that for the yellow (last Monaro colour) VN project If a clubsport kit comes up I may get that and fit it. But for now I'm playing with the SV91 style kit. Rear bar is the only problem at the moment - it fits like crap and needs lots of rework to make it come close to fitting.

Front bar now has paint on it - the side skirts too. Left side on and about to put the drivers side on.

Only problem was usiing the VP support - has the bar 100 to far forward.

Boot now repainted - even tho it took 3 goes at it today. The spray gun played up for a while.

Boot is now ready for a cut n polish now.

Next remove the black door moulds and paint the sides.

The car is finally all painted. Just dont like the kit at all after looking at it for 3 weeks.

So back to the original plan of the simple clubsport (VN SS kit)
