I have a 1988 calais series 1 that didn't have a parcel light.
I went to the wreckers and removed a VP steel light mount
with a chisel and bought it along with a parcel shelf off of
the same model.
Later on I lined it up and drilled and tech screwed it to the
body and fitted the light and parcel shelf then wired up the light.
All turned out ok and working well, and it looks original, just
like as if it was made with it, and looks a lot better than before.

Cheers,
Bob...

Even though I had fitted the parcel shelf and light earlier to my VN,
I am now thinking about fitting a VR parcel shelf, light and retractable
middle seat belt.
I am wrecking a VR sedan and I have all of the parts that I want to use
without going out and getting them.

Cheers,
Bob...

It may be old, But i wnet to fit a VR parcel Shelf to my VP when i had it in bits, It all fit, etc,, But htere was a big ugly 1 inch gap at the rear that i didnt like, so i went and got another VP parcel shelf :D i didnt not want the gap.

So thats got me thinking, How did Green foam get his in there without a gap. OR did it allso have a gap ?
