Hi.
Does anyone know if there is an easy fix for a VN auto that is very slow to select reverse gear when cold ? Drive is quite slow as well but it goes straight into 1st when selected then if I put it in "D" then drive away it changes normally.

The auto been serviced recently? might pay to have that done. New filter and fluid should do the trick.

Btw, an easy fix is never a lasting fix. It'll always come back to bite you.

Tried the oil change and filter change. Also tried additives but nothing helped. Someone told me that I could have some "O" rings that have gone hard.
The auto shops just tell me I need a reconditioned box.
I was hopping there may be some sort of valve block that could be serviced with the pan off because I don't have the time at the moment to pull the box out.
