Vn build date

HI there,
Just got a Vn sedan manual. Noticed holden stamped behind number plate on the front bumper. Compliance date is 7/88. From research they weren't released until 8/88. Is there any way to find out what build count it is?

There is a Thread on here somewhere where the build sheet is underneath the floor covering near/under the Passenger seat. I didn't take much notice as my first VN,89,and 2nd 1991 didn't have it.
Someone on here may know more.

Do you have the VIN number? I have some info here that came from 88GreenVN who compiled extensive data on build numbers/dates etc.

I bought the car for the 5spd and ac to install in my vq. But I noticed it had holden embossed in the bumper behind the front number plate. All the years I've been panel beating I've never seen that.

Build sheet missing can see a stain where it was. Looks like new carpet.
