Can anyone please tell me where this hose should be routed. Found it just hanging down not connected to any thing. Unsure if it should be.

Other end connects to the intake manifold behind the throttle body. One hose goes to brake booster and other small hose goes to heater control valve. This hose was just hanging down. when engine running its sucking air I assume it should be attached somewhere. Cheers . Any help would be much appreciated.

The only thing that springs to mind is the MAP sensor.

Just read up the service and repair manual. Thinking it must be for charcoal canister, sadly a previous owner has removed it. Do I just block off or I'm I best to buy and install one.
