Vn dash lights wierd problem

So I'm in a pickle.?



somehow my dome light switch combined with light switch in either parkers or low beams will trigger the instrument cluster to illuminate but without the dome light switch pressed in the lights on the car work as per normal but the cluster lighting has no lights on.?

So I've come into more info dash light won't work with dome light button on when car is started.

Only have dash lights if a door is open and dome light button is switched on when car is started.

What circuit does the dome light run on? Does it intergrate with the driving light switch?
