G'day

my odometer on my vn exec has simply stopped working, i do not know why or have not had any new or ongoing issues, although the fuel gauge is "sticky," one soft hit on the dash and up it goes. The car just ticked onto 211,304km and the small odometer below it does not tick over either.

What could be causing this and how much would i be looking at to fix it?:bang:

thanks

Probably a broken cog of some description. You can take the dash cluster apart yourself and take a look. Just takes patience and an eye for detail. Buy another second hand cluster cheap, and use it for spare parts :)

you can buy a rebuild kit to fix the odometrer for less than 20 bucks and its not hard to pull the dash apart, and as stated above the sticky gauges will need to be rectified by resoldering the board inside the cluster
