K asked by hubby to aks ya's all if you know anything about VN's leaking from (he thinks) timing cover ? It looked as if it was water pump at first so replaced that and the gaskets behind the spacer thingy too but still pissing out water. So any ideas?? been searching the forum & the net cant really find anything that helps so I hoping someone here can..... Its a '89 series 1

VT SS 5.7L Commodore.
Could be that the spacer is badly corroded and there a pits around the seal area which isn't sealing properly. Might want to get some gasket goo or ask your local auto store what's the best gasket sealant to use. To hopefully fill the pits up.

Cheers,
Jim
