O.K I've had problem with my VN off and on so I just brought a 92 VP, it runs sweet with new spark plugs and leads and looks mint, but when I brought it the guy said the alarm was temperamental, he was right - It worked the first day then this morning it wouldn't work so I had to manually open the door and reset the alarm switch now it doesn't work at all, does anyone know if this is a common problem and what would cause it. Also the car looks mint except the front left side of the bonnet is out of alignment, I tried to fix it today with no luck, does anyone know if there is a secret to aligning these bonnets? cheers

i had the alarm problem with my car, sometimes had to open it manually and sometimes the alarm would go off for no reason at anytime. i resoldered all wires that were connected to the alarm and it hasnt done a thing wrong since.
