Hay guy's no doubt its probably on here somwhere but i can't find it.
My car has been sitting for a few years, so i cahnge all my plugs, leads and
also put clean fuel and injector cleaner in just to be safe. Doing oil and oil filter
after a i get it running properly.
I start it and it will idle a bit rough but when i touch the accelarator it cuts straight out.
I had a light on my dash so i tried the bridging test and it gave me 22, 34. how do i fix
these and would they actually be my problem??

Code 22 - Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) - Voltage Too Low
Code 34 - Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor (MAP) - Voltage Too Low

Plese help, need my car on the road very soon.
Thanks

those 2 sensors are pocket items at the wreckers, grab a couple and swap them out, disconnect the battery to reset your codes. also id highly recommend dropping the petrol tank and giving it a flush. stale fuel will cause the engine to run like crap, and is not good for it... change all the fuel filters as well.

map sensor is the one screwed to the firewall bracket right next to the AC condenser unit, has a plug and an air tube coming off it, the TPS is bolted to the throttle body and shaped like the letter P.

Thanks for the help, will try that tomorrow after work.
i read on 1 post it ended up being a fuel pump, could it be that?
I can hear the pump turning on, so i can't see it being that but worth the ask.
thanks again, cheers

pump might turn on, but what's the fuel pressure? You'll need to stick a gauge in-line to test this.

V6 or V8? V6 throttle bodies on VP's got a bit black inside, pinholes for vacuum are at the bootom and get clogged. remove TB, waste 1/2 a can of carby clean, and it will help. Maybe not a fix, but it will help. I used to do this every 50,000k on my VP. Just as an insurance thing. Never stuffed up.

Have those computer error codes reappeared since you changed the parts and reset the computer (by disconnecting the battery)?
