hi all , i have a 1992 vp commodore that has some starting issues when parked facing downhill. when it’s facing uphill it starts perfectly but as soon as it reaches half a tank or lower it won’t start facing downhill. is this a design flaw? is there something that needs to be fixed? thanks

Sounds like might be fuel tank pump/hose/swirl pot related.

Park it up hill.

Yep, in particular the hose that connects the fuel return line to the swirl pot might have come off , leaving the swirl pot empty when the tank is low.
