I bought a vp Commodore just to thrash around/daily and i'm tryna fix a problem on it but i'm not 100% on the issue the guy i got it off said it's the immobilisers but not sure, Basically when the cars cold and hasn't been driven it starts up straight away one turn of the key, Drive it for say 20 mins ? maybe less the car turns off Won't start again for another hour or so Or sometimes it might just start after 10-15 minutes of sitting there It normally always cuts out when driving not when it's sitting idling Anyone Have any idea what it could be? If it needs big dollars spent it'll just go to the wreckers Lol

Does it have spark when it cuts out?
Does it have fuel?

Check the error codes before you get too ahead of yourself. Not hard to do. There's a how to some where around here.

My vp did this a few years back, it ended up being the CAS, would run until it got to tempreture and then would die, after it dies poor some water over the CAS and see if it start straight away. if the CAS dies you wont have spark.
