Cop cars do sometimes come with extras. Many years ago my father had an FJ Holden ute as a Police car. He used to tell the story that he had to keep a few bags of cement in the tray to stop the rear end from being too lively when he went fast!!!!

I have asked far and wide about this. The info I have is the only ones with any changes were VT 5.0, the idle in P/N was increased to help keep charge in the battery when idling for long periods with the roof lights and high beams going.
