I've just bought a VP Vacationer which I am using for parts for my VG ute. How much work is it to put the power windows/mirrors and cruise control out of the VP into the VG? Do I need to replace the BCM or is mine capable of running those?

Any advice would be great.

no bcm are fitted in a vg ute if its the same vintage as a vp commodore and it is standard....in any case no bcm involved in the mirrors circuitry anyway .Power windows use a separate power window module and they even run a separate loom for the windows and mirrors on vps that you can take out easily and the toggle on the power for the cruise is handled by the push on and push off style switch on the switchblock on the right.
