VP SHITTY IDLE SURGING

Hey guys got me a '92 Vp wagon 3.8L, and out of nowhere it just started idleing like ****, starts fine but its sorta shakey inside the car (best i can explain it) and the idle is horrible barely any fumes coming out the exhaust. I have checked the Coils, Fuel and air, it seems to have all the necessary components working. Just unsure of what else it could be. Also checked the head gasket and thats fine also.

Drain tank to be sure and refill,symptoms of contaminated fuel.
If that's not the culprit and the electrics are Ok do a wet/dry compression Test to check valves and Pistons.
I had a similar problem many years ago,i had the Master Cylinder replaced and somehow the brake guy has hit a Spark Plug,it looked Ok but the top was broken off inside the ceramic,took forever to find the problem as they were near new plugs.

You have checked the plugs are all firing with a fat blue spark?
