vq doorlights and inside lights staying on

i been trying to find this problem for awhile, i sprayed the swicthes and the lights all stayed off when doors where shut worked for a day ro two then they started coming on while the doors where shut and car was off but the door lights. is this a common problem with these, its as if the doors are open but the door ligths wont come on unless you open the door???

Unplug all the door switches and then see if they stay on, if they do theyre touching ground somewhere

Also check the wires if you can get to them, the insulation may have worn off somewhere and the wires are shorting to the body.

But I'd lean toward a dud door switch, seems more likely.
