Vq transmission

Hi i just installed a second hand gearbox into my vq and now it wont shift out of park also can you tell me what the 4pin plug is cheers

The 4 pin plug is for the neutral/park/reverse inhibitor switch. If the control quadrant is not stuck the transmission might have bound up when you bolted it up- try rocking the car and see if it frees up.
