VR boot actuator rod

I've done a Google search, but didn't find alot about VR boot rod
Are the boot actuator rods different from vt, vx,vy to the VR?
I'm in need of a new one. Mine broke years ago.

How did you bust yours lol

They're torsion rods, like VN/VP, they'll snap from fatigue, corrosion etc.

VR's don't have torsional boot lifting rods, just gas struts like the VS has.

Ok so we are talking the small thin rod from the electric actuator to the lock mechanism ???

if this is the case I have to ask how does one break one of these ???

Hi people, I hadn't received notification there were replies, sorry.

Attached is the boot actuator rod I ended up with. It broke about 8 years ago, and now I'd love it replaced haha.

Unsure how it broke. I went to open the boot this day and it was a broken rod
