hi

my vr horn is broken....
i have to use two arms and press with nearly all my might! to make the horn go HONK
any ideas of what i could do?

how much would a car machanic charge to look at such a problem?

Get the sticker horn broken watch for finger :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

Haha seriously if it still works take off the cover of your wheel and spray the horn connections with contact cleaner, it's probably just dirty thats all

I've normally found it to be that little spring loaded contact that runs on your slip ring is worn away too much. I gotta replace that on mine too! You can put a drop of solder on it to boost it up a little tho!

where do i look for this:

which part is the:
horn connections

what is:
contact cleaner?

1990 Toyota Starlet GT, turbo.
There is like two peices of metal that when the "horn" on the steering wheel is pushed they(metal plates) touch which connects the curcuit and makes the horn go off. so if they are dirt there will be no cuircuit and all this is located behind your steering wheel cover which just pops off. then to put it back on set the top in and push the bottom in.
This is basically what vrocious and auc05l, but i hope it helps
