I have googled a heap and looked on here but cant get a straight answer
I have a base fleet pac 95 vr auto ute v6 column change.
Under bonnet has the loom for cruise module
And under dash has the loom for the cruise indicator stalk.

Some places i read say plug it all in and will work if has the wiring
others say your low spec bcm wont support cruise and will need a patch harness to get it to work ( some people say is also missing some cruise control relay also under the dash?)

Any help will be appreciated
thanks

VE Series I SS Ute
My ute has cruise. I was of the belief that the ute BCM is the same level throughout the VR range.

will also need the 2nd switch on the brake pedal

The low BCM needs the external relay
See some pics i have attached for more info - check them all as it was many years ago i did a VR cruise install.

This is my car now see pics below
By the look of colour diagram
Cruise%20Circuit.JPG

You press cruise control on button. sends power to bcm. Im guessing once you get to 40kph bcm says ok close circuit
Energise cruise control relay which brings on cruise on lamp ?

Looks like i have no 2nd brake pedal switch so im guessing the wiring is not there for it either ?
