VR Heater Switch No 1 + 2

Hey My Heater switch has no 1 + 2 has been picked on a roadie. i pulled the actual switch apart theres no corrosion and it all seems to be contacting fine. just wondering if there is any "Common problem" with this thing Before i start investigationing.

have you checked the heater tap in the engine bay? id say thats what theyre referring to
