So today another thing went wrong with my car :( good thing I'm only doing it up lol. I took it for a drive and then smoke started coming from behind the horn button on the steering wheel :S and ideas why this would be happening?

u sure it was from the horn and not the steering column?.

i just replaced the wiper stalk in my vt due to it deciding to smoke like snoop dog (smoke built up inbetween the wheel inside the steering column surround then puffed out).

It seemed to be coming from the horn so I disconnected it and hasn't done it again

stock steering wheel / horn - or aftermarket with boss kit?

if aftermarket, id check all the wires that run down the column to make sure theres no exposed parts ark'in against the bosskit.

pull it apart and youll probably find a melted wire thats a positive touching earth ,that will be your culprit.
