G'day,
Just signed up. been overseas working for a while.
Had two VS ExecsII, both 95 and a VR Lexcen previously. All great vehicles. Around the 200,000km mark they all started to just cutout and stop running on the road, without warning.
Followed the then recommended wait for 1 hour and try again (worked often, but not always), workshopped with heaps of other same model owners and mechanics suggesting replacing nearly everything eventually, electric and fuel components etc. Did anyone discover any single cause or remedy?
Got a mate with a VY (195,000) and he's anticipating a similar fate maybe.
Appreciate any info available.
