If the panel beater offered you $5500 cash for it then you can safely add 20% to that which gives a price of just under $7000, which I'd list it for. If not in a hurry to sell then list in CarSales.com
With paperwork and history and in the condition you state you should get that price as it is almost impossible to buy any series SS for that price that isn't clapped. Your only negative is your location and the market you will aim at...a bit closer to Melbourne would be better, but a keen buyer will travel for the right car. I sold a Commuter bus recently from Toowoomba - buyers in Melbourne were willing to pay cash plus freight from Toowoomba to Melb just on the wording of my advert plus the many photos which I offered. Take plenty of pics that you can email to prospective buyers.
Of course if you want a quicker sale, go back to the panelbeater and say he can have it for $6000. Good Luck.
