Hey

I've got the dash cluster out as the temp gauge is being intermitant/ temperamental.
Some times moves just above the C line.
Other times it will read maybe quarter.

Found a fix on YouTube and also some info on here as well.

I will assemble and post back after test driving.

Cheers
Pete

Might have been more useful if you had inserted the youtube link instead of just a picture (LOL).

I had a sender in the manifold go bad once.
It would go above C through town. But on the highway it would fall off the gauge again. It was mid winter night drive, but still, the sender was buggered.

I've replaced the sender and thermostat.
No different. And checked the tightness of the plug that connects to the sender.
This was before taking out the cluster.

I installed the cluster last night, all my cluster gauges aren't lighting up now. They have new bulbs, I will try the old spare bulbs again just to check..

The trip computer screens light up, but aren't showing any info on them now..

I double checked all plugs that I can see are plugged in. Would it be the plugs that the cluster plugs into behind it self?

Cheers
Pete

You know there is already a decade old sticky/thread about dry solder issues & broken odometer gears.

The youtube clip you were watching was probably dude who started or posted in said sticky thread...

That's the plug under the cluster?. That's in, I'll check it's all the way.

Last night I found out to turn the fan off, it goes off when I turn the head lights switch off.

I'll hopefully have some time to look at it this arvo or tomorrow
