Welcome to Just Commodores, a site specifically designed for all people who share the same passion as yourself.
That was just testing the sensor on its own. Are you meaning if I added heat to it?
As an example, if the weather is 15 degrees outside.. then add some heat from hair dryer to see if the sensor temp rises?Yes, if you know the rough temp now, then add some heat (steam or hair dryer) then you can see if it's working and adjusting
I'd say the outside temp at the time was 13 degrees or there aboutsWhat temp was that reading at?
I hope to get to that maybe after work tonight. Either way I will say how I go.6.10 ohms at 13 degrees, then add heat with hairdryer and measure ohms again, any variance will show that the sensor is working.
Gregory's doesn't have detailed enough information regarding the sensor or values for it,but it does say there is some sort of self diagnostic feature on the climate control module.
How that works I have no idea, you might have to access a genuine factory manual.
I guess when I add heat the ohms reading will go up or down. What ones of these are good?6.10 ohms at 13 degrees, then add heat with hairdryer and measure ohms again, any variance will show that the sensor is working.

It's a generic sensor I thought looks the same as the Holden one.Hard to tell what is good or bad without a reference value from the factory book, if it's even in there...
It will give you an idea of whether the sensor is working or not to start with.
Just to check..you've soldered or connected a new sensor in? Ebay or ?
