I have also heard of this problem......it explains the symptoms.

Not much else left to try besides investigating into this further.

yip that be my guess , the valve sleeves where a big problem once they collapse good bye transmission she's cooked , lucky I got mine replaced before it happened , had them replaced with stainless ones.

This is the best example of what I believe my flex plate is doing. Idling a nice wobble, soon as torque is applied and revs increased straightens out. Sounds exactly like my car aswell.

same here, even my new flexplate does the same thing.

2 possibilities, crank float or bad torque converter.
