Vr V6 Fuel pump Upgrade/replacement..Which one?

Gday Everyone, after leaving the tank empty for a few weeks my fuel pump has Chucked it in, so i want to upgrade it. I have read all the posts i can about the subject and im still undecided on which Brand/ pump to buy, a Bosch 040 or WALBRO GSS342 and if i was to install a Bosch 040 is it much of a modification involved to fit it in tank, i am aware of the Bosch 044/surge tank/reg but that would be overkill for me, any ideas or help is apppreciated , thanks again to Forum members and Sponsers

what did you end up choosing? would like a bit more fuel in the firing stroke
