Vr v6 not changing gear

I have just put a brand new transmission in my vr however now it doesn't seem to change gear but reverse works fine done a error code check the codes were 73 67 59 82 what does this mean and how do I fix it?

Check your connections to the trans and make sure you have right trans for your VR.

Agree with James I reckon you've got the wrong trans, did you make sure you got a trans to suit VR (Should be a 4HDD 4L60E). The VR and VS Trans have a different connector, the VR has a 12 pin and the VS has a 13 pin.

It is a 4hdd. Is it possible to put the plug in wrong or brake the pins?

Plug only goes in one way. You have to pull/insert the plug straight or you can break the pins.
