Gday all, i got a 94 mdl VR V6 ute for sale with a bad case of stage fright, for me it starts first time every time, for the people who come and look at the car it doesnt start, it winds over and over with no problems what so ever, but thats all it does, just cant get it to fire, About half hr after they leave (in a pretty ordinary mood) she doesnt even wind over half a turn and bang she fires up without a problem, i have read crank angle sensors can cause this? Has anyone had this problem? if so could u please help me out..

Whenever you are selling a car and you know someone is coming to check it, go out and start the car and take it around the block to get it warm so that it starts for sure. No good fixing it if you're selling it. Caveat emptor.

It'll cost you a bit to fix the CAS (yet alone the CAS itself is approx. $80), because the harmonic balancer has to be removed.

Excellent advice, get the car nice and warm so the CAS ****s itself and the car wont start. Please don't post stupid advice.

Not common for the CAS to go on the Buick motors.
