VR Written Off

Hey, im new to this, i am a first time commodore owner, and i have a problem i wrote my vr off just a few days ago but my engine gearbox and mechanical areas are still alright, i am looking for a new shell to drop my box and engine into but not a commodore if you know of any engine bays that the engine and box will drop straight into or with a few modifications please let me know as i am eager to get my car back on the road.

hey mate you can get a conversion kit for your v6 to go ino a toyota hilux... theres one in nowra with a v6 in it, ecotec

There is an old orange corola around the knox area, i think it is a 83 what ever the rear wheel drive was. Any way it has a VP motor in it stock 4 speed corola gear box. I have to say it bloody flies. Runs a 13 something down the 1/4 but the 4 speed tops out before it gets to the end. Not sure if the gear box will go into a corola. Good luck with it all.
