Vs 5l running gear in vr statesman

I’ve swapped vs 5l into Buick statesman runs and drive fine but my battery keeps draining. Has anyone else had this problem?
I’ve been told the bcm might be shortening out somewhere.

You'll have to trace the fuses and relays to work out what is draining the battery.
