Hey guy i have a 1996 vs commodore aclaim. yeah any way when i get in my car put it in drive or reverse my car nelly stalls it has once before this has only been happenin 4 a bout 2 days now also at idle my car to idle's at 500 rpm is this normal it use to be around 800

Check and clean the IAC valve. Also check your error codes.

Just near the top of the page here, theres a menu called 'search'. If you click on that, you will get a new page, where you can search the entire site. Just search 'error codes' in the 'how-to' section. It should bring up a few matches, the best one should be obvious.
