today I removed my speakers off my parcel shelf. So Im not running any speakers at the back. After doing this I flicked my accessories on to listen to the radio. I had it on for around 30-45 minutes. Then the accessories loose power. So I turn the accessories off and go to start the car and no luck. The radio works but the car wont start. The car just makes a click sort of noise when i crank it. So i take the battery out and test it with a multimeter. It reads 12.45 volts. What could be the problem. The battery seems to be fully charged when i checked it. I have now put it on a battery charger and the charger says the battery is completely empty. What should I do

Battery should be between 12.5 - 13.5 volts (when not being used).
12.45 volts is flat.

You need a new battery. If it's been completely discharged you are unlikely to be able to recover it. How old is the battery?

I've started an ls1 with a 900 amp jumper pack when the car battery was dead flat (it was a cheap chinese pack with a 12V 26ah sla battery)
