VS Central Locking problem Drivers door only

G,day,,,,,Only the drivers door wont respond to the key unlock, or lock,,,, locking the car must be done manual'y, all other doors work fine, anyone ells had this happen :idea3:

12months later this has hap again, what a pain in the ass this is,,,,, off with the door trim again, looking for a problem,,,,,,,,, FIRST TRY THIS disconnect the battery for 20mins ( IT WILL RESET THE COMPUTER ) and then test remote key lock

Yeah my VR is the same. but I haven't done anything about it yet. Maybe i'll be more motivated next month.

yep had it happen before. (twice actually)
at first it was like. damn no central locking. then you get used to manually doing it. and once you get it back its like That Is Totally Awesome! =P

pulled off the door trim.
had a fiddle around.
unplugged, plugged back in, manually doing the door actuator along with using the remote.
it eventually started working again.
maybe a bad connection. maybe a bad actuator. (it wasnt working until it was fiddled around with)

give that a crack and see if it fixes it.

When you do the above suggestion give it a spray with lubrication.

Had the same with my VR. It was the drivers door central locking actuator. The drivers door actuator is different to the other 3 doors, something to do with it controlling the other doors if my memory serves me.

Yes, I agree. I've fixed a couple and it was just a dirty connection.

tested the wires that go to driver side door Actuator I could lock n unlock with test light, same as locking unlocking the driver side manually cant lock driver's door with remote, all other doors lock n unlock fine, with remote,

1: door Actuator bugged ?
2: bcm ?
3: loose wire ?
4: bad earth?
