Hi All,

So my problem is the car won't start/ crank. Have power, dash lights, head lights etc. Key unlocks and locks door. Had an auto eleccy check it out. He says, I've got no earth at the starter relay, he reckons the ECU is stuffed.
Does this sound correct? Has anyone had this problem. If so where do I get an ECU for a manual clubby.
Cheers.

Sounds more like a wiring problem than an ECU problem. Auto or manual? Have you checked your error codes? Is the theft deterrent light going off when you unlock the car with your remote?

So if you hotwire it or put switch to solenoid starter does it crank over?

If you do that will it fire up/run with accessories on?

No codes usually means anything from starter to ignition switch or that aftermarket alarm
