Vs commodore door locks upgrade?

I have a Vs commodore wanting to upgrade the door lock in drivers door to something better/more secure
What have people done

I used barrel locks in my old 4x4, not sure I'd have the patience to do the VS, with that I just use a club lock.

Couldn't agree more ! they are the worst doors in the automotive industry to mess around with.

Agree with both above. Gen II door handles and locks are a nightmare compared to Gen IV.

if you were thinking solex or similar dont.

I go with trying not to park in dodgy areas, using a clublock as deterrent if you want & having insurance. Changing the locks is a pain, and when I did it on the VKs many moons ago, it didn't make much difference, seen enough videos of people popping locks regardless.
