Vs engine Questions

hey guys i got a vs st8o s2 and i revently found out that my bottom end bearing and this n that were all gone so i need a new engine just wondering if a vt or vx engine would straight swap with no mods to running gear or anything

its a 3.8 v6 also

Yes, VS-VY are the same engine. Some of the peripherals need swapping over though.

Hey mate,

What engine does it currently have in there...

If its an 8, you can swap a VT S1 engine (304), however the S2 and VX onwards used the LS1.

If its a L67, then should be able to use one from either a VT, VX or VY.

If its a L37 (ecotec) you can also use one from a VT, VX or VY.

I dont think there would be too many changes, although i could be wrong.
