VS front lower lip question

Hi there, I have a front lower which has a rough finish (see picture). Was this a release by holden as the lip is genuine. All others I have seen have a smooth finish.

Hi sk2304,

I think you'll find that this has been done by a Crash Shop using 3M's anti-chip formulation. Holden never used this back in 1995~7. This was a big thing on European cars of that era and thus it was done on a rework of the lip that probably nudged something along the way.

Yeah that's been sprayed in stoneguard prior to topcoating. Definitely not how they came from Holden.
