My VS Ute has an intermittent power issue with both fuel and temperature gauges.
I have tested both gauges in my level 3 cluster. Both work fine.
computer system reads correct distance to empty All the time.
any ideas?

It's a fairly common fault for VN-VS Commodores having issues with non working gauges in the clusters which was typically a dry solder joint issue.

I resoldered the cluster board and no change. Is that what you are talking about?

There is a small 10V regulator module that plugs into the rear of the cluster that may be your problem.
Check all the solder joints on that PCB.

Similar function. I guess different cluster versions have differing modules.
That one I showed is from a 1994 VR
