All cars with in-tank pumps have fuel pump problems.

ute fuel tanks are easy to gain access and remove and the common problems is the in tank hose from swirl pot to pump assembly and installing it correctly in the swirl pot so the engine dosent cut out when tank is 1/4 full

Got to expect it's on 2nd or 3rd f/pump after 20 plus years...

Had a pump go, and very slowly, would let me down when hot then start up again after cooling,
also had the return to the swirl pot break away, starves for fuel on low tank level.
