Ive got a VS ecotech with 275 on the clock.

Before I got it the Auto was replaced with a reco or so Jerkoff the salesman says, but it feels like a new trannie so im inclined to believe that, The power steering doesnt leak at all (was probably replaced though, probably a few times :p )

The only oil leak was out of the crossthreaded sump plug, which I liquid gasket whenever I service it.

Injectors where clagged, I reckon you should service them every 100 thousand

She runs smooth and has a bit of go, I give it some spirited acceleration sometimes and havn't taken it much over 100 kmh but I drive it nicely most of the time, not like an old lady though.

I put good products into it, sing to it at night and tell it that I love it every day.....

Okay maybe not.

But I do put good products into it.

This questions has me really buggered...

I've had two VS's which have seen 230,000 kays each.

The engine internals have not ever given out.

But of lot of other bits like water pumps radiators etc have.

Yep, as I mentioned in my above post, the motors are pretty much bullet proof, its all the sundry items that clap out around them, speaking of which, I had to replace my water pump today, original item lasted 12 years, so thats a pretty fair effort.

heheh, tbh I think its cheaper that way too, id rather a fooked water pump then having to replace rings.
